Five ways to win my heart

1. Wake me up and plead/drag/push/prod me out of bed to make sure I drink water and clean my teeth before I go to bed for the night

2. Rest your hand on the small of my back when we are in public

3. Either laugh with/at me, ignore me or accept me when I fart in your room, talk about my toilet habits, use foul language, be grumpy, me bitchy or perform other unladylike acts (I am a charmer to live with :-) )

4. Give me lots of cuddles (the furrier you are for this one, the better)

5. Make me feel:
    a. loved
    b. appreciated
    c. missed
    d. interesting
    e. beautiful
    f. silly
    g. sexy
    h. a little crazy
    i. needed
    j. wanted
    k. important
    l. inspired
    m. worthwhile
    n. selfless
    o. special
    p. unique
    q. adventurous
    r. generous
    s. warm
    t. giddy
    u. hopeful
    v. fiery
    w. happy
    x. feminine
    y. brave
z.excited about seeing you again (even if we only parted for a few hours)
..... ok so I kinda cheated a little. Really, my heart is not that hard to find :-)

Hair Heaven

AFTER

New Hair. I love it.

Bee is fantastic. She is so friendly and easy to talk too. I just said I wanted to keep the length and do something with the colour and this her creation. She was so excited to me giving me a makeover. It only took 1.5 hours and cost $150 which I think is great. I will definitely be going back :-)

Hair Hack

My hair is abysmal at the moment. I haven't had it done since about April last year.

Thank god I about to leave work and early and make my way down to Peggy Sue's. I have read such great things I am actually excited about going. I usually hate the experience of going to the hairdresser. Despite common misconceptions due to my loud mouth and tendency to say inappropriate things to people I barely know (ie. suggest their friends had a make-up child), I am shocking at small talk. Wish me luck

I wrote about this five months ago. See here is my evidence.

That is all

Haha.

Nada

I want to update my blog, I truly do. But... I have nothing to say. No advice and no pointless anecdotes to share.

Thank you all for keeping on following my blog despite this abundance of nothingness.

Hopefully I will find some inspiration in the future.

Peace Out

Toodles Two Thousand and Ten

Despite my completely neglecting my blog, I seem to have gained some new followers. Hi there newbies.

I was terribly miserable driving to work the other day. I have a LOT of work to do before the 24th, I have little motivation, I am not been getting a lot of sleep and feel very worn down, Christmas always stresses me out and most of all, my boss was recently diagnosed with cancer and it is very upsetting (in good news I went to visit her at hospital today and she is doing really well and may get to go home tomorrow after having surgery on Friday).

Anyway, I was driving and listening to Nathan and Nat on Nova (I know, mock away) and Scott Russel Hill, who does weekly psychic readings for listeners (which I can't stand and am completely intrigued by at the same time),said to someone that 2010 was there year of good things.

This got me thinking about my 2010 and I realised that 2010 has been a really good year for me, probably my best in memory. I am still feeling down in the dumps but I think writing down this year's good things will make me feel better. So here goes (in no particular order):
  1. I became a real lawyer
  2. I got off my arse, put myself out there and met a wonderful man (yes D, I am being soppy )
  3. I lost 14 kilos
  4. I am the fittest I have ever been in my life
  5. I started a blog
  6. People actually followed my blog
  7. I have managed to get up for Bootcamp at 6am twice a week for three and half weeks straight (so far - this is a new thing)
  8. I helped plant a garden
  9. I got an iPhone (hehe)
  10. I ran around Lake Monger (and bitched and moaned the whole time)
  11. I won a very important hearing at work
  12. I signed up for the Rottnest Swim (and then sadly had to pull out due to extenuating circumstances)
  13. I learnt how to surf (well I can't stand yet but I am learning)
  14. I became a strong swimmer for the first time in my life
  15. I can play G on my guitar (maybe I will have to adjourn by promise to play carols to next Christmas)
  16. I helped make a projector screen
  17. I developed muscles in my legs and arms I never knew were there
  18. I wore a bikini (and felt good - until I saw the photos)
  19. I won some really great bargains on Ebay
  20. I finally cleaned all my old crap out of mum and dad's house
  21. I became the journey to fix my teeth (even if it does mean braces for a short while)
  22. I .....
I am out. Perhaps I will keep thinking about good things to try and help me stay afloat. I might even add to my list.

Write your own list (if you want) it feels good.
