Last night, D and me went to the Banff Mountain Film Festival with some friends. Was basically a whole bunch of short films of people doing adventure sports.
D has been banned from ever kayaking or climbing again. Cross Country Snowboarding he can do. Scooch away baby.
I was not really sure what I was in for but it was great night. Some people are bloody crazy and amazing.
Especially Ueli Steck. He literally runs up mountains.
I must admit though that I couldn't watch the cavers when they were squeezing through tight spots like this.
It made my stomach turn. I always had a fear of getting stuck in things as a kid and used to have nightmares about it. Each to their own I suppose.
Anywho, I had no idea what to wear to such and event and dressed in a frantic running late mode as it was so of course found myself far too overdressed for the cool dude surfer type adventure movie goers.

I did caving like that in SA. Only a couple of spots were quite that tight, but a bit eeep.
